Botch Dice Kickstarter

There’s a new Kickstarter out today for Botch Dice – new acrylic dice fully made in the US. These are different in that the faces are printed on, which gives them a unique look I’ve not quite seen before, and an opportunity to do more intricate, colourful designs.

The prints are very detailed and durable and the bespoke font with the little triangle is a fun little detail, though I will say that I find readability leaves something to be desired on some of the sets where the numbers don’t contrast very well with the print design. Particularly for the d20 this isn’t ideal – even with the d20 being noticeably larger than regular polyhedrals. I’m also a fan of the alternative d4 design.

If these have piqued your interest, the Kickstarter is now online with a price point of $35 per polyset. Just note that the delivery date is given as November 2026, which is a hefty 16 months from now.

I am not in any way associated with the Kickstarter or Botch Dice as a company. I just think the dice are something new and cool, so I wanted to raise awareness for the project and share photos of the four sample sets I was sent as a gift from the creator.
